
After recognizing the Small Business, Big Threat’s (SBBT) website lacked telling the brand story and purpose of the program I collaborated with the Small Business Development Center’s cybersecurity expert and marketing director to recreate the landing page. The new updates to the page allowed for a better user experience and a higher ranking SEO status. Ultimately, by updating the landing page SBBT was able to see average increase of:


Goals
- Revamp the SBBT website to communicate the purpose of the program’s offerings in time for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2020.

Strategy
- Improve the website’s user experience to allow for visitors to quickly receive the benefits they’re looking for as soon as they enter the site.
- Update and showcase customer value proposition.
- Set the site up for better SEO Success.

Tactics
- Showcase customer value proposition as sub-header.
- Create buttons that allow visitors to interact with the benefits of the program.
- Feature the Security Bytes blog that communicates the knew knowledge visitors of the site can receive.
- Create headers and keywords that allow for SEO success.

Results
- Number 1 organic ranking in Google Search of “Michigan Small Business Cybersecurity”
- Average monthly site visit increase from 395 visitors/month to 513 visitors/month
