About Tyler Booms
I currently am attending Grand Valley State University pursuing my degrees in Marketing and HR management. At Grand Valley, I have been given the privilege of working with the Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as the marketing assistant. This position has lead me to gain experience in managing a diverse portfolio of brands that the Michigan SBDC oversees. These brands include:
- Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
- Small Business, Big Threat (SBBT)
- Michigan Celebrate Small Business (MCSB)
- Great Lakes Lender Conference (GLLC)
Through assisting with the marketing management of these brands, I have been able to gain insight on what tactics work and don’t work, how to best utilize branding standards to create visual storytelling, and how to utilize marketing tools to create seamless communication with clients.
