
Once realizing the impact that organic reach can have on the SBDC’s social media posts I took the initiative to manipulate Facebook’s algorithm to make the posts appear in user’s feeds. This was done by analyzing the content that the SBDC’s Facebook audience engaged with the most. Taking this new knowledge I created and scheduled out more content that the SBDC’s audience would be more willing to engage with. This allowed the content to be higher in Facebook’s algorithm resulting in the following:


Goals
- Curate social media calendars that include content in which the SBDC audience engages with to improve upon social media organic reach.

Strategy
- Review previous social media posts that performed well in terms of engagement.
- Create similar posts that performed well with the SBDC.

Tactics
- Schedule posts out at prime times (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM) to ensure greatest reach
- Utilize Buffer social media publisher to schedule posts and track analytics.

Results
- Increase in organic reach to 1,617
- Increase in engagement to 264
